Visited at Home

Oct 11, 2020 | Dreams, Dreams from the Pandemic

I’m visited by a patient at home.

She happens to be a young obese woman and I find her in our bedroom, lying on our king-sized bed.

She’s wearing a thong.

I approach to check her blood pressure. Karen stands behind me a bit aghast that this patient has showed up at our house in the middle of a pandemic.

“You seem okay to me,” I say. “I’m going to check your blood pressure.”

I want to prove to my wife that I can be firm with my patients telling them the way it ought to be.

“Next time you really should see me in the office,” I say. “And that’s another thing.”

My wife glares behind me. I turn back to my patient and say, “it’s really inappropriate for you to come here and visit me at home on a Sunday morning.”
